GROVE · NATURAL SEO SERVICES

Natural SEO Services.

Your last agency promised rankings in 90 days. Your traffic crashed on a Tuesday in March. You've spent the last six months trying to figure out what went wrong and who to trust next. This is what we work on.

Grove is a methodology-grounded SEO practice. We work with operators who have decided their next agency is the last one. The expert content layer is written by Yan Dobromyslov, an SEO specialist with seven-plus years across regulated B2B service verticals.

Methodology overview

Eight service surfaces, each anchored to a named Google system.

  1. 01

    White Hat SEO Services

Penguin 4.0 sets the link-acquisition constraint.

Manipulative links pass no authority after September 2016. We route every acquisition path through outreach, content earning links on its own, and digital PR. The work compounds because the links are real.

  2. 02

    Organic SEO Services

Topical authority operationalized at the content layer.

The Helpful Content System reads depth and reader-first framing across the site. We build content programs that satisfy the integrated quality signal, not surface-level on-page heuristics that haven't been load-bearing in five years.

  3. 03

    Ethical SEO Services

Search Quality Rater Guidelines as the operating constraint.

The published rater handbook names the patterns Google's quality systems train against. We work against those patterns explicitly: cloaking, sneaky redirects, AMP content mismatch, scaled aggregator content without value-add. The audit asks where your site touches any of them.

  4. 04

    Sustainable SEO Strategy

    Multi-year horizon, compounding returns.

Sustainable means the work survives the next core update. We plan against the published algorithm timeline: HCS integration, Reviews System expansion, scaled content enforcement, site reputation abuse. The retainer cadence matches the time horizon of the signals being built.

  5. 05

    Long-Term SEO Strategy

    Quarters and years, not weeks.

Operators who have been burned once want the time horizon explicit. The first two quarters surface the load-bearing work. Quarters three and four show the compounding. Year two onward is sustained authority. We don't price against the months Google can be moved in.

  6. 06

    Google-Compliant SEO

Search Central documentation is the spec.

Search Essentials, Search Quality Rater Guidelines, the Spam Policies (March 2024 formalization), Reviews System. We name them by document, by date, by section. The pages reference the actual surface area Google publishes against.

  7. 07

    EEAT SEO Services

Author entity, organization entity, citation graph.

Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness rendered as schema, not as marketing claim. Article.author points at a standalone Person node with documented expertise. Citation graph maps onto primary sources. The Reviews System and Quality Raters read the architecture.

  8. 08

    White Hat Link Building

Outreach plus content earning links on its own.

Genuine outreach to publications that cover the topic. Original research that earns links because the data is useful. Digital PR that lands the citation. Every link is one Google will count after Penguin 4.0's URL-level evaluation.

How the practice works

We work against named Google systems, by their published names.

Most agencies pitching white-hat SEO can't tell you which Google system they operate against. The source-document gap shows up inside two paragraphs of their page copy. Grove names the systems: Helpful Content System, Search Quality Rater Guidelines, EEAT framework, Panda Patent 8,682,892, Penguin 4.0, the March 2024 core update, the scaled content abuse policy. The work derives from there.

01

Helpful Content System literacy at the operating level.

The Helpful Content System has been running since August 2022. The March 2024 core update folded its signals into the core ranking systems. Recovery from a Helpful Content demotion now requires broad quality improvements across the site. We build content programs against that integration.

02

EEAT operationalized at the schema layer.

Google's quality systems weigh the author behind the content. We render that signal as structured data: every article carries a named author, every author has a Person profile with documented expertise, every page nests inside an Organization that owns the content. Search Console reads the architecture; Quality Raters read the prose.

03

Penguin 4.0 governs the link layer.

Penguin no longer demotes sites for manipulative links. It zero-weights them at the URL level in real time. The budget spent on paid links and scaled exchanges is waste. We route link acquisition through outreach and content-led mechanisms that actually pass authority.

04

Scaled content policy is the volume constraint.

Google's scaled content policy applies whether the content came from a model, a scraper, or a content farm of human writers. Volume produced for the algorithm rather than for the reader triggers the same enforcement. We work in the opposite direction: fewer pages, deeper primary-source grounding per page, named authors.

On the criteria the methodology runs against

Grove against the typical white-hat agency, on the systems Google actually publishes.

UPDATED 2026-05

How an engagement runs

From diagnostic to sustained authority, in quarters and years.

QUARTER 0

Diagnostic

We read your Search Console history, your Ahrefs link profile, your content inventory, and your historical traffic against the published algorithm timeline. We tell you what's working, what's working against you, and what the methodology-grounded version of your program looks like. The diagnostic comes back with the load-bearing pages, the dead weight, and the commercial gaps in front of revenue. Two weeks, end-to-end.

QUARTER 1

Build

The first quarter rebuilds what the diagnostic surfaced. EEAT entity architecture lands at the schema layer. Named authors and citation graph onto primary sources. Helpful Content System remediation across the load-bearing surfaces. Penguin 4.0 link audit and disavow handling where the manual-action history calls for it. Technical foundation: Core Web Vitals, rendering parity, crawl budget.

QUARTERS 2 / 3

Compound

Content cadence settled against the editorial framework the build phase established. Link acquisition routed through outreach and content earning links on its own. Reviews System signal architecture for the YMYL-adjacent surfaces. Schema coverage extended page by page. The metrics that move first are query-level visibility and impressions; commercial-rank movement follows in months three and four.

QUARTER 4 +

Sustain

Sustained authority is what the retainer pays for. Quarterly review against the published algorithm timeline: every HCS update note, every core update, every spam policy refinement. Editorial cadence holds. Citation graph extends with each piece. The work is no longer reactive to algorithm shifts because the architecture is aligned with what the algorithm rewards.

Common questions

What operators ask before the engagement starts.

01.What's the difference between natural SEO and other SEO?
Natural SEO is SEO that follows Google's published guidelines as the operating constraint. Google publishes the systems that govern ranking: the Search Quality Rater Guidelines, the Helpful Content System, the EEAT framework, the spam policies, the Reviews System. Natural SEO operationalizes those by name. Most agencies pitching white-hat or organic SEO don't engage with the source documents at the level the methodology requires; the page voice gives them away inside two paragraphs.
02.How long until rankings move?
Query-level visibility and impressions move first, typically inside the second month for a load-bearing rebuild. Commercial-rank movement follows in months three through six. Sustained authority is a multi-year horizon. Anyone pitching commercial-rank movement inside 30 days is selling a pattern Google's quality systems are designed to detect.
03.Do you do per-incident penalty recovery?
Per-incident recovery is the work of the sibling practice, Restore. Buyers who arrive at Grove in active crisis route there for the forensic diagnostic. Many graduate from Restore into a Grove long-term retainer once the immediate signal issue is resolved. We don't price the recovery as a project line; the methodology that prevents the next demotion IS the retainer.
04.Will you work with AI-generated content?
We work with content the author has the experience to write. The scaled content abuse policy (March 2024) applies whether the content came from a model, a scraper, or a content farm of human writers. We don't ship LLM-scaled programs. Where AI assists drafting under a named author's review, we set up the editorial gates that make the output meet the Helpful Content System's first-hand-experience signal.
05.What does the retainer cost?
Engagements run in the $3,000 to $10,000 per month range, scoped to the surface where the work is needed. The diagnostic prices separately and runs around $2,000 to $5,000 depending on site size and history. We don't publish a price grid because the work is shaped to the site, not to a tier.
06.Do you work with my vertical?
Grove is geo-agnostic and cross-vertical. The methodology applies wherever Google's quality systems apply. For deeply regulated verticals where the operator wants a vertical-specialist practice rather than a methodology-specialist one, we cross-link to sister practices: Atticus for legal, Praxis for medical, Bright for dental, Earnest for real estate.
